Friends:
I created my first book trailer ever! Woo hoo! It’s for The Cajun Cornbread Boy, my picture book with Pelican Publishing, illustrated by the talented Marita Gentry. The colors are a little off – the book looks much better but overall, I am pleased with the results of the trailer. My 19 year old daughter, Soleil, produced the video. The music is by Eric Laws from my Jambalaya CD. I even edited the music.

I LOVE Cajun Cornbread Boy. I purchased a copy at Circa in Baton Rouge and the illustrator autographed it for me. I cannot wait to get the next book; I think due out in September. I was so sorry to miss you at Barnes and Nobles for the performance of Cajun Cornbread Boy.
